Alice and me were great friends too. I lived in a village a few miles away. I literally felt the moment of her passing. Alice bequeathed me a beautiful kaleidoscope in her will . She knew I loved rainbows. I still do and now paint. She has been on my mind a lot recently. I was thrilled to read about you both. I spent many wonderful times in Selborne with her. I now live by the sea not too fast away in Southsea.
