We have enjoyed dining at the Farmhouse and look forward to future visits. I’ve been thinking for a while, I would love to see (or help with) some seminars on basics of canning. I feel like this is somewhat of a lost art that needs to be re-born! In years past, we would go to the cannery at the Farmer’s Market, which unfortunately closed. But, we still can each summer, the old-fashioned “Ball” jar way :)and enjoy healthier, preservative free food! In reading about “The Hil”, I see she cans a good bit of the food served there. It might be a fun project with summer coming up :)
